Massage House Thai Massage and Spa was proudly opened in January of 2025 in the Park West area of Mount Pleasant by local resident Paraya. The spa is operated by Licensed Massage Therapists with more than 10 years of experience in traditional Thai massage. While our massage therapists have expertise in Thai massage, they have equal experience and expertise with Swedish massage, as well as other techniques.

The head Massage Therapist of Massage House Thai Massage and Spa is local resident Paraya. In 2014 Paraya became certified in Thai Massage from the Union of Traditional Medicine Society of Thailand. In 2016, Paraya graduated from Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand.

 

Shortly after, Paraya moved to Boston, Massachusetts where her lifelong devotion to healing others began. In 2021, Paraya moved to Mount Pleasant, South Carolina with her family, and in 2023 graduated from Trident Technical College, becoming a South Carolina Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT).

 

In July of 2025 Paraya won the South Carolina Massage Championship, winning Gold Medal in Thai Massage.

 

In July of 2026, Paraya competed in the World Massage Championship in Copenhagen, Denmark, and placed 7th in the world in the Sports Massage Category (highest ranked participant from the United States in that category. A few weeks later, Paraya participated in the American Massage Championship and took home the Bronze Medal in the Asian Massage Category.

 

In 2026, Paraya became certified as Thai Medical Massage Practitioner (TMP) and was nominated as the representative for South Carolina of the Nuad Thai Spa Association of America (NTSAA).
